WISDOM Research Network for Schools

January 29, 2026

The WISDOM Research Network is delighted to celebrate Children’s Mental Health Week (9–15 February 2026) and this year’s powerful theme, “This is My Place.”

Children’s Mental Health Week is an annual mental health awareness week launched by children’s mental health charity, Place2Be, first taking place in 2015. The week exists to empower, equip and give a voice to all children and young people in the UK.

This year, Place2Be’s Children’s Mental Health Week will aim to support the groups and systems surrounding our children. It will encourage the creation of inclusive and nurturing environments, where children and young people feel they belong and can say “This is My Place”.

This theme strongly reflects WISDOM’s mission: creating a community of schools and researchers and building a supportive, collaborative Network. Through facilitating research and sharing the latest research and best practice, we aim to strengthen mental health knowledge for students, staff, and families

WISDOM was created to foster a genuine sense of belonging for schools and researchers passionate about mental health—because everyone deserves a place where they feel connected, supported, and heard.
